The Architect, the official journal of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects WA Chapter, is written by architects and those interested in architectural styles trends and developments. The editorial format includes both local and international residential, civic and commercial projects and interiors by West Australian architects.

Produced twice a year, the journal is mailed directly to architects, town planners, designers, builders, engineers, quantity surveyors, construction industry executives and other subscribers. It is also sold by newsagents throughout the state. As at June 2007 the estimated readership of
the journal was 5000.
