The World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (an association of nurses) is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of an internationally based identity for qualified enterostomal therapy nurses, the ongoing education of these nurses and the extension of education related to the needs of individuals with ostomies, incontinence, draining wounds, fistulae and actual or potential alterations in tissue integrity.
Published quarterly in February, May,
August and October, the World Council of Enterstomal Therapists Journal is distributed worldwide to over 50 Countries
to enterostomal therapists and other registered nurses, as well as to hospitals,
libraries, medical clinics, medical practitioners and universities.
