Brief, the official journal of The Law
Society of Western Australia, is published monthly (except January) and
distributed to over 2600 solicitors, barristers and judges as part of their
annual membership. Readership coverage varies from newly appointed articled
clerks through to the Attorney-General.
Brief, the most respected legal journal in
Western Australia, is used as a hub to disseminate important developments on
state, national and international legal issues; it also acts as a vital forum
between members, offering a means to confer on recent cases and other matters of
legal importance. All articles are written by prominent and esteemed figures
within the legal arena. The publication also includes less formal articles
such as sporting and social events, a wine column and film and book
reviews.
